Prince of Peace Little Food Pantry

We are pleased to announce the installation of a “Little Food Pantry” to serve arealittle pantry
residents. The pantry is stocked with non-perishable items and will be restocked on a regular basis.

The pantry is available for all who may be in need of the items. There are no eligibility requirements and no set number of times someone may use the pantry. We count on the users to be respectful of the resources and we ask that no more than half the items be taken so that there is something for the next person.

The Pantry is available 24/7/365 and may be found in the parking lot of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, on 4 Northcrest Dr. (opposite the intersection of Moe Rd. and Rte.146.

Donors may leave non-perishable items in the pantry. If you bring donations during business hours please bring them into the office.

The pantry was built by Jakob Quail as a Boy Scout project and its construction was funded by a grant from the Grace Endowment Fund.

We hope this pantry is a blessing to the community.

  • The Way to Faithwaytofaith

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
    Romans 10:17

God has given us the key to having an abundance of faith as evidence by this scripture. And with faith all things are possible. Meditate on the word of God and your faith will increase.

The symbolism placed in this image is straight to the point. The lion is meant to represent our King which is Christ who watches over us. The little girl is reading a Bible, to illustrate the way to faith which is through the word of God.

EXPAND YOUR FAITH THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD!!

  • We join with Christians around the world of all denominations in believing in God, the Father who created all, the Son, Jesus, who saves us by his death and resurrection, and the Holy Spirit who fills us with God presence. We look to the Bible, Old and New Testaments, to guide us with the message and promise of God. We practice the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.

As Lutheran Christians we place a special emphasis on God’s grace – that is there is nothing we can do to earn God’s love and favor. Rather is spite of our sin God loves us and forgives us through Jesus. All that we do in response is our way of saying “Thank you!” to God.

At Prince of Peace, our Purpose statement sums up our identity. “Claimed by God’s grace we seek to Welcome All, Worship Joyfully, Grow Spiritually, and Share God’s Love.”

There is a welcome awaiting you at Prince of Peace.
We look forward to growing and journeying together.
